Today we said goodbye to Te Whare Pukai and if im honest it was a bit emotional..

For those who dont know Te Whare Pukai provided us and other organisations much needed kai to service our community. It came out of covid.. and to this day I have never been more proud of the mahi we did than what we achieved during covid. It really was amazing!

I want to thank everyone who made Te Whare Pukai possible, although its sad we dont have the funding to continue (make sure you vote!) it has helped so many whanau in the last 6 years.. not only food but they gave out whanau ora packs, pjs, winter wellness packs. It really has been a blessing.

While its sometimes hard to say goodbye to the past, it brings hope for a better future.. once again thank you to our leaders, to Ora Konnect, To Vanessa, Jen, Mya and Rolly. Job well done whanau, you should all be proud 🥰
