What a busy few weeks leading up to our superb win at the AKL ATC Sports Day last weekend! Let's recap on some of the highlights... Good things tend to happen and it's always a pleasure to have LT Richard Mathers RNZN visit the Squadron, and what better opportunity to organise some promotions! Congratulations to CPL's Mehra, MacLugash Tapelu and Managahaya, SGT's Ardern and Fong-Leat, and F/SGT Tomlinson, well done and well deserved!

What an awesome result! Well done 40 SQN for coming first in this year’s AKL ATC Sports day!!! Fantastic effort and thanks to all the cadets who made it happen, alongside the amazing NCOs and staff. The standout feature on the day was that every cadet present was willing to give it their all - which made a huge difference across the day.
I guess we have a winning combination here for next year 😉🥳🥳
