Fazing out fossil fuels doesn’t mean we’re going to ban them overnight and revert to Stone Age. It means we’re going to use the remaining 50-100 years of precious reserves to rebuild a balanced society. What this looks like will be up to our children to decide. But we urgently need to reroute. Pushing for Growth, consumption and indulgence is absurd and always has been.
Loosing 150 species/year that might hold the key to cure diseases or healthy nutrition, is unacceptable
Dumping billions of tonnes of plastic into the oceans making our kai Moana sick, is unacceptable
Carelessly wearing out tyres on the asphalt creating black toxic gue that clog up our waterways, is unacceptable
Air pollution, chemicals in our food, obesity, depression…
And none of this is actually giving us a better life. There was no need to loose our connection with the natural world and where our food comes from
There was no need to pillage Africa for resources, sacrificing entire cultures in the process
There was no need for billionaires that get addicted to watch their bank statements grow online…

We can rebuild by reviving the good things of the past that have been lost,
Restore the ecosystems that we destroyed
And Progress where we stagnated, communication with each other and with Nature.
