I am looking for a forever loving home for a brother and sister. Mr Nibbs and Gemma. There elderly owner passed away suddenly so it is rather an Urgent rehome.
They are about 12 years old healthy and just want to be loved and fed.

Little Love Bug ❤️
This beautiful little girl is Bug — although when she first came to me, she was my little Love Bug, and the name just naturally got shortened to Bug. She knows her name and comes when I call her. 🐾❤️
Bug came to me around Christmas as an older feral cat. She had spent her life being frightened and unsure of people, so earning her trust took a lot of time, patience and love.
She was eventually placed at the Pawphanage, but sadly she just couldn’t settle there. After everything we had already worked through together, I couldn’t bear the thought of her being euthanised, so she came back to me.
And I’m so glad she did.
Because look at her now. ❤️
Bug has completely blossomed into a beautiful, affectionate little girl. She loves being up close, loves her cuddles and is quite happy to curl up with you. Watching her learn to trust, relax and enjoy being loved has been incredibly rewarding.
She is good with my other cats and has been around my grandchildren. She sleeps happily inside at night, and I’ve recently started letting her outside during the day. She comes home in the afternoon and stays inside for the evening.
She has come such a long way from the scared little feral cat who first came to me.
Bug is desexed, microchipped and has had her first vaccination, so she is ready to find her forever home. ❤️
Now I would love to find Bug the right forever family.
She needs someone who understands that she may take a little time to completely settle and build her trust, and who is willing to be patient with her. But once she trusts you, you get to see the beautiful little personality that was always there underneath her fear.
She really is a special little girl, and she deserves someone who will love her, be patient with her and give her the safe, happy home she deserves.
Bug is ready for her forever family. 🐾❤️

Lady bug (Bug for short) is approx 9 months old.
She is shy to start with but is a real honey once she settles.
Time and patience are going to be needed with her.
She is desexed, microchipped, 1st vaccination wormed and fleaed.

Our bigger and better community desexing scheme is here!

Thanks to the support of CareVets and Kaimai Vets, we’re now able to offer subsidised cat desexing for people living in the following district council boundaries:
Hauraki (e.g. Paeroa, Ngatea, and Te Aroha), Waikato (e.g. Huntly and Ngāruawāhia), Matamata-Piako (e.g. Matamata and Morrinsville),
Waipa (e.g. Cambridge and Te Awamutu), Ōtorohanga, and Hamilton.

AND dog desexing for people living in the Matamata/Piako area at Kaimai Vets.

Cats can be desexed at four different clinics – CareVets Horsham Downs, CareVets Hamilton South, Kaimai Vets Matamata, and Kaimai Vets Te Aroha.

Dogs can be desexed at either Kaimai Vets Matamata or Kaimai Vets Te Aroha. You must live in the Matamata/Piako area.

You contribute $60 per cat (a limit of four cats per household applies) or $110 per dog (a limit of two dogs per household applies) towards the cost of desexing, microchipping, and registering your pet on the NZ Companion Animal Register, and we’ll cover the rest of the cost at one of these participating clinics.

This is a high trust model – we believe that you deserve your dignity, so we don’t require you to prove that you are doing it tough. That said, vouchers are only for people who actually need them.

Funding is limited, so if you can afford to have your pet (that you already own) desexed without a charity covering most of the cost, please leave the vouchers for those who can’t.
