Finally... some correspondence about the Community Centre. It should also say "thank you for your patience"! Hopefully while short on info should give some reassurance none the less.

Hi all, just in case some haven't read or seen the March Western Wanderer. There is a wee note about the Community Centre. Things are certainly moving VERY SLOWLY! Unfortunately we are getting very limited information from the Council and we have made a call to the Board which we are still waiting to hear back from a Community board member for any further info. Sorry

Anyway as per Tuatapere Te Waewae Community Board report: At our last formal meeting our Community Partnership Leader reported "The structural repairs have triggered the need for a building consent, which requires the entire building to be brought up to code. We are currently awaiting the architect's specified building plans and costs to present back to the insurer"

With this we are still unable to use the building sadly. We have yet to hear back about where the ANZAC morning tea alternative venue is to be held. When we hear will let you all know.

Any questions direct them to members of the Tuatapere Community Board. Thank you

There's nothing like a good old fashioned bark up, and we usually have quite stiff competition, so make sure you bring your canine friend to enter! 🐶

Whether it be a Huntaway with good noise or a yappy Jack Russell, the pooch with the best voice on the day wins!
