We recently ran our Whaanau Experience & Feedback Survey, hearing from whaanau across our services about their experiences, insights, and the outcomes that mattered most to them.

These koorero help us understand what’s working well and how we can keep strengthening our support for whaanau.

If you’re moving at bare-minimum-mode, saying “nope”, or just trying to keep your sanity intact — you’re doing it right.

This season can get messy, busy, emotional and expensive, so here’s your PSA:

💗 Rest like your phone on 1%.
💗 Ask for help like it’s co-op mode.
💗 Feel your feels (even the unhinged ones).
💗 Celebrate the small wins — they count.
💗 And remember: chaos doesn’t cancel your mana.

Go gently, whaanau. You’re still the main character, even in silly-season mode. 🎄💖✨

Aotearoa currently has an outbreak of measles in our communities. We encourage all our whaanau to check their MMR vaccine status. It’s important for everyone, including our tamariki and kaumaatua too.

Remember to keep on the look out for any symptoms you may come across and keep you and your whaanau safe through your MMR shots. Especially if you aren't protected yet.

Call us 0800 024 321, ask for our nurses and we’ll help you out.

Kia ora whaanau, we are doing some mean mahi down at Pokeno Hall today for our Hapaitia Ngaa Whanau event. Come join us and all the other providers and have a bit of fun with the whaanau! We are there from 10-3pm today. Nau mai haere mai e te iwi!

We've got another event on Saturday 4th of October at Pookeno Hall, 9 Market Street, Pookeno from 10am to 3pm.

We've got a fun day planned - including a range of really important health activities. We've free health services like childhood immunisations, screening and oral health checks.

It's not just us, there's other providers who will be out there talking to whaanau about all the services they provide.

So come on down to Pookeno Whanau Day on the 4th of October with all the whaanau. Can't wait to see you all!
