Last week Thursday, our He Poutama Rangatahi (HPR) crew took a haerenga to the Mussel Factory — and what an inspiring visit it was! We were warmly welcomed and guided through the ins and outs of the operation 🏭✨

It was awesome to see firsthand the mahi that powers this vital local industry. Even more special was knowing many of our whānau are the backbone of this factory proudly representing our people in the workforce 💪🏽❤️

This experience planted seeds of inspiration for our rangatahi, showing them more pathways to employment, right here at home 🌱🌊
