🌟 Scholarship Opportunity for Omokoroa Students 🌟
The Omokoroa Lions are thrilled to once again support our local students with two scholarships for 2026:
- $2,000 Beryl Scott Tertiary Memorial Scholarship
- $1,500 Precious Family Memorial Scholarship
✅ Eligibility:
- Completed at least 1 year of full-time tertiary study
- Family has lived in Omokoroa for 3+ years
- Attended a local secondary school for 3+ years

⏰ Applications close Friday 12 December.
Interviews will be held in person Saturday 10 January.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in Omokoroa today at the launch of the new Resource Collective. Our team loved firing up the BBQ and providing a free sausage sizzle for the community.

Resource Collective is an amazing community-based initiative which redirects reusable items from landfills while creating meaningful work and training opportunities, particularly for people with disabilities. Resource Collective are not just reducing waste but building confidence, capability and connection in our community.

It was fantastic to see so many locals come together to celebrate this amazing initiative. We're proud to support events that bring people closer and strengthen community spirit.
