We are delighted with the photography results this year.

Congratulations to our Special Award winners: Supreme Photo Winner - Adam Gilbert, Photography Most Points Cup - Kylie Burke, and Judges Choice Photo - Lara Mckenzie.

As we welcome the new year, we are excited to announce the Kaikohe A & P show is in two weeks! It's time to get your cameras ready. 😁 Please see the poster below for entry requirements; A4 size is recommended for printing convenience.

Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, 14th January.

Please share far and wide! Kaikohe show is on the 17th January 2026!

But first I'm going to tell you a short story.. I went to another show just recently, and was walking around admiring things, and the amount of people I heard saying 'oh I should've entered this, or made my scones, or got the kids to do this..' Well everybody - here's your chance!

Show schedules are available now at Kaikohe Farmsource and Wrightsons so please do grab one, there is plenty of things in there to suit all ages and skill sets!

We are proud to be supporting the Kaikohe A&P Show Colouring Competition. Come in and grab a paper to colour at home, or sit in the library and use our pencils to colour in, then hand your entry to us to pass on. Competition ends 28th November.

Summer is here and it's time to get out there and get snapping - categories below
All entries must be in by Wednesday 14th January 2026 to the Kaikohe Library or Petersen's Motors

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
Minimum print size 8" x 10" for all classes
Photos must be mounted with a stiff backing, including a border of a minimum of 25mm.
Exhibitor's name, address, phone number and class clearly stated on the back
Work must be of the exhibitor in all sections.
Late entries will be at the discretion of the Chief Stewart.
All entries will be available for pick up after the show.

Entry Fee Adults: $3.00 per photo entered
Children: $1.00 per photo entered

Photo of a historic place or event with old photo - Enter 2 images at the price of one entry.

Prize money (1st as per Sponsor), 2nd $7, 3rd $5.
