What a night we had!

The turn-out at the last meeting was awesome! Chats and catching up after some amazing hunting always causes good stories to be told.

Well done to the hunters entering their trophies on the night! It is not the size of the trophy...rather the stories that goes with it!...but we'll measure it anyway! 😜

We had our AGM last night at the Clubhouse!

Our committee was re-elected -

Congratulations to the team that help look after the overall "wellbeing" of the club! Now, let's get cracking, we've got things to do 😀

At this meeting we also discussed the finances, new website, new hut - so many reasons to be excited!

Thanks to Oamaru Sports & Outdoors Ltd , we were able to draw two prizes for attending members - The winners were: drumroll....Johan and Robyn.

Everyone looked quite "sharp" at the meeting last night. Votes were cast and blades were sharpen!

No no no...no fighting, just knife talking!

The Hunters were spoiled with a visit and talk from John Worthington from RIPI KNIVES.

I walked out of there, looking at knives with different eyes. "Oh knify, you beaut! ...Let's go on a hunt."

Yesterday, 4 members from the branch accompanied by an enthusiastic local digger operator, installed the composting toilet at the Greta Lodge.

The toilet building was constructed in Oamaru and transported to the site and placed on site. Plumbing is still to be completed prior to use.

A special 'THANKS' to Mark Hay for constructing the building and overseeing the installation and Meridian & Waitaki District Council for providing Community Grants towards funding this project.
