The Oamaru Community Shuttle to Dunedin has updated its schedule, based on feedback from the public. The shuttle expects to continue running until the end of September, when a new Orbus service will start up, if ORC councillors vote "YES" on the 24th of June!
Shuttle from Oamaru to Dunedin is $15 one way, $25 return, or to Palmerston, $10 one way, $15 return.

Please take a few minutes to complete this short survey. The Oamaru Community Shuttle team is gathering information to help plan for ongoing affordable transport between Oamaru and Dunedin.
Paper copies of the survey will be available at the Oamaru Public Library until March 14. (Will be dropped off midmorning this Monday!)

Be aware - the new parking meters require you to enter your plate number, even if you are using the 1-hour free parking.

By replacing the machines, Council wants to ensure a turnover of parking spaces within the town, and ensure parking users, locals and tourists, support the maintenance of the car parks.

Council will hold another session soon at the Ōamaru Library about how to use the new meters.

There will be no changes to the 1-hour free parking in the Oamaru CBD until the February 17 Council meeting when further consideration of the issue will be made.
