🏖️ Junior Surf Programme
First Session: 1 November
We are excited to welcome our Junior Surf members and families back for another season of learning, development, beach activities, and, of course, fun! 🌊🏄
This season, rather than holding a dedicated open day, we invite new members to join us at 9:00am for a club tour, the opportunity to ask questions, and to purchase vests and other club gear.
Returning members are asked to arrive ready to go by 9:45am to help the morning run smoothly.
📝 New Registration Process
We're introducing a new registration process this season to make managing memberships and participant information easier for both members and administrators.
Full details, including registration instructions and important deadlines, will be released soon. Thank you for your patience as we transition to the new system.

🎓 Training and Education Opportunities
🛟 Lifeguard Refresher
Date: To Be Confirmed
All active lifeguards are encouraged to attend the annual refresher to ensure qualifications and skills remain current before the patrol season begins.
🛟 Lifeguard Award Exams
• 21-22 November
• 11-12 December
Good luck to all candidates working towards this important qualification. 💪
⭐ AON Patrol Captains Course
• 22 November (Venue to be confirmed)
This course is designed for current and aspiring patrol leaders looking to develop leadership, communication, and operational management skills.

🔨 Club Working Bee
Saturday, 17 October | 9:00am
We're calling on all members, families, and supporters to help prepare the club for the season ahead.
This is a great opportunity to lend a hand, catch up with fellow members, and ensure our facilities are in top shape for a busy summer. ☀️
Jobs to Be Completed
✅ Clean exterior club walls
✅ Trim trees around club grounds
✅ Repair outdoor tables
✅ Fix roof leak in the gear shed
✅ Clean windows
✅ Deep clean changing rooms
✅ Clean the bar area
✅ Clean BBQ area
✅ Tidy and stocktake the uniform cupboard
✅ Clean and organise the upstairs room
✅ Clean and organise the gear shed
✅ Mow lawns
✅ W**d eating and general grounds maintenance
Please bring along any tools or equipment that may help with the tasks above.
Many hands make light work, and we'd love to see as many members as possible there. We might even have some baking as an incentive! 🧁😉

👏 Committee Update
The club recently held its Annual General Meeting, and we'd like to acknowledge some important committee changes for the coming season.

Congratulations to Connor Dudley on his appointment as Club Captain.
We look forward to Connor's leadership and contribution in supporting our lifeguards, patrol members, and club activities throughout the season.

Her commitment and hard work have made a significant contribution to the club, and we greatly appreciate everything she has done in the role.

After several years of dedicated service, Ralf Kleinsorge has stepped down as Chairperson and will remain an active member of the committee.
We thank Ralf for his leadership, guidance, and commitment during his time as Chairperson and are pleased that he will continue contributing his experience and knowledge to the club.

This is always a fantastic community event and a great opportunity for the club to showcase its community spirit. 🎅✨

Our club relies heavily on volunteers both on and off the beach.
