🌟 Last term was our busiest yet, with 321 people attending our classes, 33 classes delivered, and our largest class welcoming 40 participants. 🌟

The impact of these programmes goes far beyond the numbers. One participant from our recent Dress for Success event shared:

"Today is my turning point and time to work on my future. Stripping all these layers of rejection, shame, hurt… knowing I deserve much more. I've not looked in the mirror for a long time until today. Wasn't proud of what I saw until now. This week I achieved a lot by simply turning up."

Stories like these remind us why community and opportunity matter. Every person who walks through our doors is taking a step forward, and we're proud to be part of that journey.

📅 Schedule for Term 4 will be available on our website next week.

We look forward to welcoming both new and returning participants to our free classes. Keep an eye out for the new timetable and come along to see what's on offer!

"There is much to celebrate this year - the two milestones of 40 years of service and completion of our first social housing development. However, underlying these are some hard facts. Families and seniors are struggling not only with material hardship – food, utilities, and basic needs but with the first and most necessary step towards stability – a home." Jan Rutledge, GM

Share in our celebration by reading our annual report 2025, see how we provide sustainable housing and wraparound support, and most importantly, read the success of the families and seniors we've helped!

In August, 92 individuals and families reached out for support with housing, food, and essential services. With the rising cost of living and everyday expenses increasing, more of our neighbours are needing a safe place to turn.

Thanks to the strength of our community and the dedication of our team, we were able to welcome 9 new families into transitional housing, providing stability and care when they needed it most. We also celebrated a huge milestone another 9 families moved into long-term social housing and Kāinga Ora homes, supported every step of the way by our staff and wider community partners.

Every enquiry represents a real person, a real story, and a real opportunity for us to help. Together, we’re making sure families in our community feel supported, valued, and never alone.
