This weekend we are selling off all the last of the bits and pieces our club has had stored, in a mini garage sale this weekend at the club rooms. Come down the side of the War Memorial Hall in Ngāruawāhia.

It’s with our sincere apologies that The Lions Club of Ngāruawāhia will not be hosting the annual Senior Citizens’ Christmas Luncheon this year.

There are many reasons behind this decision, and unfortunately we simply do not have the capacity or member power to deliver the event to the standard our community deserves.

However, we would still like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our kaumātua and senior citizens of Ngāruawāhia. Thank you for the wisdom, love, and strength you bring to our community every day.

From all of us at the Lions Club of Ngāruawāhia, we wish you and your whānau a very Merry Christmas and a safe, joyful holiday season. 🎄❤️

With a new team this year, we have had to do things a little different. But with that, this years Senior luncheon is being promoted differently.

So if you or anyone you know usually comes to our annual senior luncheon, they can RSVP by going to the chemist on Jesmond St and fill in their details there, or at the Ngāruawāhia Arts Centre on Herschel Street.

You can also txt the number on the poster with your name, contact details and dietary requirements.

We are only taking 100 people. So get in quick. RSVP by the 26th November 2024
