Fabulous walk today to see the ship wreak of the SS Gairloch. Have a read for yourselves if you've never seen it.
Such a great walk, including 2 swing bridges which was fun.. But well enjoyed by all.

These 3 missed out on our Plant a Native Day for various reasons, so they got to plant theirs today.

And we're happy to report our gardens are doing very well and we haven't lost a plant yet... 😁

Safe to say our 40th anniversary celebrations were a huge success. The turn out was spectacular, to say the least. Lifeskills has a special place in many hearts and we shared that love today❣️

Thank you to every single person that came along, pitched in, planted a tree and helped celebrate with us.

Our huge appreciation goes out to NPDC, Grow Native Nursery, JQ Landscaping, Mitre 10 Mega and Bunnings for your generous donations.
Cheers to Hilly and Claire for helping out with the food. 🍔 and Friendship and Music for joining us.
To our board of trustees, Thank You, because without you and your endless dedication we wouldn't be where we are now.

But the biggest thank you of all goes out to all our wonderful service users, friends and whanau that join us every week ... you all make Lifeskills the best place to be, ever and we are all so proud and grateful.

Carl, Natalie, Callum and Brodie got to be part of the Taranaki Kiwi Trust release program this morning.

Such an amazing experience, once in a lifetime for many.

Attended this yesterday, awesome working alongside the boy, apart from being shown up a few times by him! Highly recommended for parents, caregivers and supports who want a challenge in a fun enviroment and spend some time with each other.

The Kaupapa behind our new caregivers and kids class is about offering a space and time to complete a shared activity together, to not worry about drop offs and pick ups and focus on maintaining and strengthen connection as a whanau.

Sessions will be 45mins over so with a warm up some movement work and then a fitness challenge with the work being shared between the participants.
Starting 1st week back of 2nd term. Wednesday afternoons 345pm till 430ish pm

Kids must be accompanied by participating caregiver to attend
