New Plymouth Model Engineers Inc. We are situated on the corner of Gilbert and Liardet Streets in New Plymouth. Motive Power could be either Steam (beware of sparks), Petrol, or Electric.

We run every Sunday from 1-4pm (weather permitting),Our track gauges are 2 1/2", 3 1/2" and 5" gauge. We have one big open weekend which is held over the 3 days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) of Labour Weekend.This is held every year, and sees many visiting locomotives attend. When it comes to Festival of Lights at the park we run special night runs normally from boxing day on for a week. Birthday parties are a big hit call in to the track on a sunday afternoon and ask for Barry to book one .

📍 Pukekura Railway (corner Liardet and Gilbert Streets, nr Pukekura Park, New Plymouth) will be running trains this Sunday from 1pm to 4pm – perfect for a family outing.
