Hiya Mosgiel, we have big gaps in our stock! If you are in the position to donate, we are after the following:

- Spreads, marmite, peanut butter, honey, jam etc
- Baby food
- Womans hygiene products

🤩Family 2 Family Update🤩

A huge thank you to the Mosgiel community for your support during the Family 2 Family Foodbank campaign again this year.

Thanks to your generous donations and an additional donation from New World Mosgiel we were able to drop off 35+ pre-filled bags to the Mosgiel Community Foodbank today as well as a donation of $9090!

We know times are tough for a lot of people right now, so we can't thank you enough for your generous support. 🥰

I’m grateful to keep my ‘Shoz Gives Back’ Taieri community donation programme going, giving me the chance to support a community that means so much to me.

For every 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗹 property that I list and sell, I will donate $250 to a local charity or community group.

For properties sold between April and June 2026 my vendors have the choice to select one of the following groups to receive my donation:
- Mosgiel Community Foodbank
- Dunedin Tunnels Trail Trust

Since this programme commenced in October 2024 I am proud to have donated more than $18,000 shared amongst 18 worthy Taieri based organisations.

We have received an amazing donation of 20 kgs laundry powder, 10kg dishwashing liquid and 5kg body wash from Mosgiel Mitre 10. You guys are awesome! Thank you so much.

A big thank you to everyone who donated jars for our lovely jam. We have enough jars now thank you.

We have had higher than usual requests for help with food parcels over the past couple of months and have run out of the following items:
Tomato Sauce
Cooking Oil
Coffee
Milo
Spreads
Dishwash
Toilet Paper
Washing Powder
Soap
We also need clean jam jars so that one of our lovely volunteers can make jam.

If you are able to donate any of the above items, please either drop into the Foodbank at 2 Wickliffe Street, Mosgiel during opening hours, or place in the baskets at Woolworths and New World.
Foodbank Opening Hours are:
Monday - Friday 10am -11.45am
Tuesday & Thursday 5.30pm - 7pm

Any donations are very much appreciated.
