Mokihinui Fishing Competition

Mokihinui Fishing Competition Annual fishing competition held in Mokihinui on the West Coast of New Zealand. A fishing competition for young and old, welcoming all abilities.

From 26 December to 4 January the competition sees plenty of fish caught on the Mokihinui river and beaches through surf casting and contiki. Set in the idyllic surrounds of Mokihinui, with plenty of fish in the sea, and a huge variety of prizes and cash rewards up for grabs, this competition is like no other. Grab your rod & reel and get into it!
