🌟 Looking for a new summer activity where you can develop new skills and make new friends? Join Akarana Young Mariners - a youth group for girls aged 9-19 who love water and the outdoors!

⛵️ What we do:
☆ water activites including sailing, rowing, kayaking and swimming
☆ regattas where we compete with other units to win prizes
☆ camping and other outdoor activities
☆ winter program where we work on badges, sailing and outdoor skills

🏞 Where? Ōrākei Basin
🌊 When? Tuesdays 6.00pm - 8.30pm (school terms)

last few weeks at mariners 😁💦⛵️
The weather has not been great the last few weeks so we were not able to get out on the water, however we had lots of fun doing some port vs starboard challenges in the rain, blindfolded opti rigging and even some opti twister. Thanks to Franklin Young Mariners for the idea, the mariners had a lot of fun!
