Last night we wrapped up our final sessions at Sandy Bay and Waipu Cove for the 2026 season. Two lucky surfers left the beach with brand new surfboards thanks to Rabobank.

Congratulations Stu (Sandy Bay) and David (Waipu Cove), we know the boards will be put to good use! 🌊 🏄🏻‍♂️

After a short break for the season, Surfing for Farmers is officially back in action! 🏄‍♂️🐄

We know the farm can be all-consuming, so we’re inviting all farmers - whether you’re into sheep, beef, dairy, or cropping - to trade the gumboots for a wetsuit.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never touched a surfboard or if you’re a seasoned pro; this is about getting off-farm, clearing the head, and having a laugh with your neighbors 🤙

- Free Gear: We provide the boards and the wetsuits.

- Free Lessons: Professional instructors to help you catch that first wave.

- The Best Part: A BBQ and a cold drink afterwards to yarn about the day.

Our sessions are running at 25+ beaches across the country. Every region has its own start date and schedule, so reach out to your local coordinator to get the latest info on your nearest beach and to register.
