Congratulations to Deputy Chief fire officer Stephen Silcock of Tahuna who was presented his 50yr service medal.

Our president Ricky Hodge was there to present our association crystal and share in the celebration with Stephen and the members of Tahuna.

We can’t thank Goldfields and their entire team enough for welcoming us to co host this event with their day 2 Waterways competition and the wonderful event host, Whitianga Volunteer Fire Brigade who were exceptional all round, thank you! Thank you to all who were involved.

It was a great day for all involved and we look forward to our 2028 Waterways Competition. The work is already starting, we would love to see all these teams and hopefully many more!

Congratulations to chief fire officer Miles Shelley and wife Diane of the Ngatea volunteer fire brigade celebrating 50yrs of service. All proudly served in Ngatea. Also Miles has served as Turua chief fire officer for the last 10 years.

Our president Ricky Hodge was there to help celebrate and present our association crystal to Miles for his many years of service, it was great to see Miles reach this milestone.

Congratulations to Darcy Lupton of the Otorohanga volunteer fire brigade celebrating 50yrs of service. All served in Otorohanga. Darcy also severed 40yrs with St John's, and served with the Otorohanga Lions club. Our president Ricky Hodge was there to help celebrate this achievement and presented our association crystal to Darcy.
