The National Committee of the NZJJF is the operational hub for the benefit of all our members, we are currently in need of a volunteer to step up and act as our Treasurer.
To make things easy we have e-meetings, we use Xero and have annual input from an appointed accountant.
Education and training will be given, and work load is approximately 1 hour a week. Who’s keen?

The 2025 National Seminar was a fantastic but bitter sweet occasion. We awarded our outstanding service award to the well deserving Chris Easley, 6th Dan, we consulted on a well deserved high Dan grade promotion, and had excellent training sessions with a broad range of talented instructors.
Unfortunately we also said farewell to Simon Ogden as our Chairman. We thank him whole heartedly for his service and the commitment he’s given and the sacrifices he’s made over the last 8 years, and we awarded him life membership as a small token of our thanks. He now leaves the organisation in a larger multi-skilled team, under the direction of our new Chairman Jesse Puata voted in at our AGM, Mr Ronin 'Martial Artist'
Thank you so much to everyone that attended, to the instructors that shared their knowledge and to our generous hosts North-West Self Defence.
See you all in Christchurch in 2026!
