🌱 Calling all gardeners! 🌱

If you have a garden that could use a bit of tidying up, we would love to help! We’re happy to come and dig up and divide surplus plants, tubers, bulbs, or anything else that could be propagated for the fair.

We’re also gratefully accepting donations of:
🌼 Dahlia tubers
🌿 Iris rhizomes
🌺 Canna lilies
🪻 Perennials that can be divided
✂️ Plant cuttings
🌱 Any other plants or seedlings that you don’t want!
🪴 Any other garden plants that could be propagated and sold

Every plant donated will help raise funds for the school and benefit our tamariki.

This year, instead of calendar art as the end of year fundraiser we're looking at tea towels featuring our tamariki's self portraits - a keepsake you can actually use (and a great gift for grandparents! 🎁). But before we do anything, we'd love to know what YOU think. 💛

We raised just over $500 yesterday with the bake sale at school. Honestly, we couldn’t have done this without the support from our lovely families at Solway. Thank you so much!!

Wow…what a fantastic day we had at Cross Country today. FOS raised over $1800 between the sausage sizzle and the bake sale.
Thank you again to everyone who brought some baking for us to sell.

We are all blown away by the support of our Solway School with all the yummy baking treats ready for tomorrow’s regional Cross Country….and there’s still more baking to come in the morning!
Thank you everyone who brought a plate this morning. We even had someone driving from Wellington to bring us a full cake!
