Competition opens for 2026 March 8th, entries to be completed for judging Wednesday April 8th.

Thank you so much to our community for supporting the annual scarecrow competition! A beautiful display of creativity and again a very hard decision for the judges! The St Matthews school PTA appreciates not only the time but the cost of making some of these epic creations and we thank you all for your continued support in this community event.

2026 scarecrow competition entries 🌾

What an awesome display of community and creativity! We have some amazing entries this year and are so excited to let our judges decide each category winner!

Peoples choice post - please ‘like’ your favourite scarecrow! The scarecrow with the most likes by 12pm Sunday will be our 2026 ‘peoples choice’

Likes only counted on this post on the scarecrow page.

Final list is up so you can all enjoy the scarecrows while they are up! Unfortunately the harvest festival has been cancelled but we will still announce winners on our fb page this Sunday!

Any last-minute entries can be done via the link below or by dropping your form off to the Marton Library by 5pm today.

So many awesome entries this year and we appreciate the effort you all have gone to, to support this community event.

Winners will be announced Sunday at the Harvest festival and on our page!

If you can bring your scarecrow down, we will set them up next to the pumpkin pie competition 🌾🧑‍🌾🎃 we will have images of all entries on display for everyone to enjoy!
