We all know tāne who are always looking after everyone else but rarely take time for themselves. This wānanga is an opportunity to slow down, enjoy a hot breakfast, connect with other good men, have some honest kōrero, and simply spend time together in a safe, welcoming space. I genuinely think this kaupapa will be so beneficial for the tāne in our hapori.

If you could please share the attached poster and caption with your own networks, we'd really appreciate it. Think whānau, friends, sports clubs, workplaces, church groups, community organizations, anywhere you know there are good men who could benefit from coming along.

Kia ora, we've got your Matariki public holiday sorted! ✨

Te Hui Ahurei o Matariki, takes over Nathan Homestead Pukepuke for a full day of markets, toi Māori/art, entertainment, kai and performance to help us celebrate the Matariki public holiday!

Celebrate Māori creativity with: taonga pūoro (traditional Māori musical instruments), weavers, carvers, romiromi (massage), Māori market stalls, food trucks and a special arts programme that includes pottery and jewellery with Matariki and whakapapa at its
heart.
Transport/Parking: We recommend you park on the surrounding streets (Dennis Ave, Frank Place etc.) There will also be a free shuttle bus running throughout the day between Manurewa Library (7 Hill Road, Manurewa) and Dennis Avenue, with access to Nathan Homestead Pukepuke via the footpath.

LifeCare Centre Programme Manager
Part-time | 20 hours p/w (Tues–Thurs)

LifeCare Centre is seeking a Programme Manager with a heart for people, community, and ministry.

The Role Involves:
• Coordinating & managing LifeCare Centre programmes
• Supporting & caring for facilitators and volunteers
• Managing enrolments, communication, promotion, and admin
• Maintaining social media, website updates, and newsletters
• Assisting with day to day operations and funding requirements
• Building relationships with participants, offering prayer and spiritual support
• Work closely with the LifeCare Centre Manager, leadership team, and church staff

About You
You will have a strong Christian faith, a servant heart, and a passion for community. Be organised, reliable, people-focused, and confident with admin, communication, and basic finances. Experience in programme coordination or community work is an advantage.
