Lets get our Puni and Kate on next years NZRDA Calendar for 2027!

Puni arrived at Tōtara Park RDA in 2019 and quickly won everyone's hearts with his calm, steady, and kind nature.
As a true "heart horse," Puni has never put a hoof wrong—except, perhaps, a reminder to his carers to hurry up when dinner is being served! He carries his riders with absolute care, always walking steadily and trying his hardest to please. Puni is a gentle & kind horse who brings confidence and joy to his riders .

Kate and Puni have shared a very special connection through RDA. Over time, Puni has become much more than a horse Kate rides — he has been a trusted companion who has helped Kate build confidence, independence and a sense of achievement. Their relationship shows the incredible impact RDA can have beyond the riding session itself. The connection, trust and joy created between a rider and their horse can carry into everyday life, creating memories, confidence and a feeling of belonging that lasts long after the session ends. For Kate, her time with Puni has been a truly meaningful part of her RDA journey.

Our wonderful volunteer Jeanne who takes extremely good care of our yards and makes sure everything is in tip top shape for our horses, has been busy behind the scenes...

Jeanne and her grand daughter have managed to sell some 2nd hand horse gear over the last several months and they have managed to raise $810.00!!! This will go towards the care of our horses. Thank you so much, we know how time consuming this can be, so your commitment is greatly appreciated by everyone at TPRDA.
