Maketu Climate Plan This is an iwi-led, whole community effort.

Together with the local community, the Maketu Iwi Collective developed a climate change adaptation plan to ensure the people of Maketu are prepared for, can adapt to, and will be resilient to a changing climate.

What an awesome Community Climate Day we had earlier this month! A huge mihi to everyone who came along, rolled up their sleeves, shared kōrero, and supported the day in so many ways. It was heart-warming to see whānau coming together, tamariki laughing and having fun, and our community showing just how strong we are when we work collectively.
