Hibiscus Coast Playgroup will be open on Monday from 9.30-11.30am at the Nukumea Primary School, 9 Crozier Place in Orewa. The playgroup is located at the top of the stairs/ramp at the front of the school in the main hall.

Little Adventurers Playgroup will be open tomorrow from 9.30-11.30am. This group is located at the Girl Guides Hall, 45 Stanmore Bay Road and suitable for parents/caregivers with 0-5 year olds.

If you've not been to the playgroup before, feel free to drop-in and have a chat with the coordinator. There's indoor and outdoor play areas available and lots of fun activities for the kids to enjoy! We look forward to welcoming you😊

There's indoor and outdoor play activities available, including a great selection of toys, games, arts & crafts and ride-on cars and bikes. There's no need to book in advance as the playgroup is run on a casual attendance basis.

We want to congratulate Sam Johnson on his well-deserved recognition in the 2026 King's Birthday Honours as an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit. 👏

Sam is a familiar friend to us, having served as a Plunket Foundation member and, most recently, as a face representing Plunket to families across New Zealand.

Beyond his connection to us, Sam has given so much to this country, from founding the Student Volunteer Army, mobilising thousands of volunteers in response to disasters, and championing the role of young people in building stronger communities.

Our warmest congratulations to Sam on this thoroughly deserved honour! 🎉
