Our Monthly Plant Sale is coming up this weekend, Saturday from 10am - 2pm. Come on down and check out all the lovely plants we have for sale, at the Lumsden Community Nursery.

We have pretty flowers for the garden, and hardy native plants for the farm or restoration planting. All plants are just $7!

Calling all plant lovers and seed collecting enthusiasts, we're hosting this webinar / workshop later in the week. It will be a great opportunity to pick up some tips and tricks for collecting seed and growing your own plants, PLUS we have access to some amazing plant life and scenery on private property.

🌳 Part of our role is to protect and maintain our region’s precious native biodiversity. Through these events we’re helping Southlanders build the skills to restore and look after our region’s biodiversity, starting with the right plants in the right place.

🌾LAST CHANCE - GET IN QUICK 🌾
If you're planning to grow your own toe toe or flax, now is the time to collect seed!

Toe Toe still have some seeds on the seed heads, but get in quick before the wind takes them all. Look for seed heads lower down on the plant or in sheltered spots, you're looking for the fluffy bits. No fluff = no seed.

Flax pods are just starting to open so collect them now before they drop their seeds.
