Update on the Home of HCMT
Hutt City Musical Theatre is deeply saddened to share that after 40 years, our home at Epuni Hall has been taken back under management by Hutt City Council.
For four decades, Epuni Hall has been more than just a building, it has been our creative home, a place where we welcomed and supported other community groups, ensuring they too had an affordable and reliable space to call their own.
With our lease ending, we are genuinely gutted. This loss is felt deeply across our committee, members, and wider theatre whānau. We are now taking time to assess our options and understand what comes next for HCMT.
