FACEBOOK RULES
The Maungaraki Community Association is made up of residents who love Maungaraki and want to make it an even better place to live. We’re neighbours, parents, friends and members of the same community. So, when you communicate to others on our pages please remember the following rules:
1. Be kind and courteous
We're all in this together to
create a welcoming environment. Healthy debates are natural, but keep it kind.
2. No hate speech or bullying
Make sure that everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
3. No promotions or spam
We don’t mind the odd business promotion, if it is relevant to our community and members. But please don’t overload us with advertising or it will be removed.
4. Respect everyone's privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should not be publicised further without permission of those who post.
5. This page is for Maungaraki residents & community. If you’re not part of our community we may remove you or not accept your request. If you think we’ve got it wrong let us know. Please note: The MCA admins have zero tolerance for any commentator using profanity or language which is deemed to be derogatory. All such comments will be deleted immediately, and the writer will be permanently banned from our page.
