Lincoln & Districts Historical Society aims to promote interest in the history of Lincoln and surrounding districts, Canterbury, New Zealand. Liffey Cottage is furnished as a late 19th century cottage and Pioneer Hall includes displays of historic photos. Both buildings are open from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm on the first Sunday of each month. Members also organise local field trips, and assist with f

The Society organised the successful Lincoln 150th Celebrations in 2013, with wide community involvement. The Society was formed on 30 May 1991 with the merger of the Pioneer and Early Settlers Association, and the Liffey Cottage Action Committee.
