All hands on deck!
With the Ellesmere A&P Show looming, we are working hard to get the place shipshape in time for our open day.
There is plenty of cleaning still to be done, if you have a few hours to spare this Saturday or next Tuesday, we would welcome an extra set of hands or two.
Too busy to take more than a couple of photos of the projects underway!

We had a lovely group of people visiting the Heritage Centre/Historic Society today.
The freezing rain thankfully abated at just the right time for a look around at the different buildings.
Many thanks to the volunteers for the preparation and showing visitors around.

Today we have a mystery object. I have a theory about what it could be but maybe someone out there might know for sure.
It is approx 3 inches diameter, 1 inch deep. Enamelled metal with a gold painted edge.
It looks to have glue residue in the centre.
What do you think it might be?

Lining a wall, painting the waiting room, cleaning stoves, clearing stuff away.
