Hi to all our Facebook customers. Thanks for all your support.
We would really like some feedback on the Fete this year. Do you have any comments - either good or constructive - that we can use to improve the Fete for future years. Looking for comments on venue, accessibility, signage, advertising, variety of stalls, quality of goods, eftpos, food and liquor and anything else you want to comment on. Also from a stallholders point of view, how you found the organisation, communication, set up etc would be useful.

Here are the 3 winners from our "cupcake competition" held yesterday at the Fete. Congratulations to Casey Jeffries for taking out 1st place! Thanks to Mayor Claire, Chef Kelvin Campbell & Tekapo School Principal Simon Waymouth for giving their time to judge these tasty morsels!

Site preparations have begun today for the Lake Tekapo NZ Made Fete to be held tomorrow at the Mt John Homestead. The weather is looking good for Sunday and La De Da Hire and Tekapo Weddings & Events will be there, showing some of the latest wedding trends for the season. We are also giving away free consultations for any bookings made at the fete. See you there

The rain started this morning and it bucketed down for a few hours but then it cleared and we have been able to mark out all the sites and get the Mt John Homestead gardens ready for the Lake Tekapo NZ Made Fete tomorrow. Only 14 hours away.
The signs are ready to be put up in the morning. The weather looks fantastic for tomorrow so hope to see lots of people up here.
Thanks to all my helpers today. You're awesome.

More accommodation available in Lake Tekapo for Saturday night -

The Cairns - 2 houses both situated right next door to Mt.John Homestead are The Red Hut which sleep 2 (king bed) and Lexis Lodge which sleeps 6 ( 2 queen bedrooms and 2 single mattresses in an upstairs loft). Makes it easier to roll out of bed and attend the Fete right on your doorstep!
