The dust (or mud) has settled, the cows are tripping over their own feet being on flat land, and the boxes are being unpacked on what will hopefully be the last gypsy day/week that the Brookview Herd will experience.
After years of Sharemilking jobs (good and bad), we have progressed to farm ownership with what could be called a retirement farm for Vince and Trudy.
We must thank every person who has helped Brookview along the journey, and we are looking forward to having visitors.

Little bit of a photo dump from sale day with a heartfelt thanks to everyone that helped.

Firstly a great appreciation for Luke and Jacoba from Carrfields who had very short notice to pull together the catalogue and sale.

Thanks to the Rosenvale for the use of their facilities, it created a great atmosphere for the sale.

And major thanks to the people who helped prepare the animals and farm before sale day, Thomas, Angel, Zane, Phil, Jamie, Odyssey, Neko, the family and our workers, Mandy and Natasha. It was very much a team effort and we’re proud of the way it all turned out

Everything we could have hoped for…

The Brookview Moving Forward sale achieved an average of $4079

We have a great appreciation for all bidders and hope those of you who won your bid enjoy the cows as much as we have.

Top price was Lot 5 Brookview Vimo Cruise sold for $21,000. This cow clearly won the hearts of her new owners when they viewed her before the sale commenced. The photos attached include Cruise giving new owners a hug.

Other notable lots sold include Lot 36 Brookview Cove Raro sold for $18,800, Lot 42 Brookview Rum Bridge sold for $16,000, Lot 20 Brookview Crush Bellisimo sold for $11,000, Lot 78 Brookview Vimo B Dream and Lot 86 Brookview Big Chianti sold for $8500

Putting Crush Bellisimo into the sale was an extremely difficult choice, this was the very first heifer we got from Brookview Bellisimo when she was 9 years old. The old girl is still in the herd back in calf as a rising 14 year old. Not only longevity but a pedigree with a long list of Excellent cows to back her up.
