What can we say except thank you for being there for us! Yes, this break in has really thrown us, senseless taking from "women"
If you would like to contribute we need 2 or 3 gardeners, we need new members, we need your support not anger! Call in the jug is hot, share your stories and connect with community.

If you would like to make a contribution to secure the building even more or help replace "stuff" we would welcome that.

And.... did you know the Te Ropu Wahine Maori Toko I te Ora Nationally is 75. We will share our history of serving Te Awamutu with a joint exhibition of 26 branches Waikato wide, in the Arts Place Kirikiriroa next to the museum, date to come around late Sept.
Community, we thank you all for your awhi, nga mihi.🙂

My question is WHY?

Last 3 weeks we have had the trauma of a breakin into our garden shed at 2am in the morning x 2. We have photos, we have logged it to the police to what end!
We, as many of you know are older women, volunteer to the League to help Maori wahine & whanau in anyway to support their families clothes, cooking, reo, raranga, art, preserving anything we are there.

You came in and took our small tools why? You got a habit or just because!

You wrecked the door bolt... twice taking your time turning on lights you methodically choose items using a draw you filled it up with electric tools, screwdrivers, spanners, secaters, tape measures lots of carry able items. Do you realize how many Market Days it takes to get these! You don't care though.
A w**d eater and 4 step ladder some bigger items.

To the woman and your son on a bike uplifting whole silver beet, taking the netting protecting them from birds and rabbits....we share our kai, why not ask for help! You took more than your share of extra veg as well!

A blue boat tarp left out for our whanau pickup, got you too!

Nice people......
WHY ARE YOU RIPPING US OFF!
WHAT IS YOUR MENTALITY!

Our hearts are sad and heavy because we give where we can!
