some of the amazing mahi that GBB does around the motu

I tērā marama, Rotorua GBs baked an incredible 40 boxes of baking for Camp Quality NZ's winter camp!

Head Bitch Stacey made the delivery, saying, "So proud of our little Rotorua team and what we achieve when everyone pitches in. Thank you for always stepping up and helping us Bake It Better! 💜"

We're sure they were enjoyed by the tamariki living with cancer, spending time in community with each other 🍰

Ka pai tō mahi 💛

The GBB Annual Report for the 2024/2025 financial year is now available. As the new kids on the block, Bay of Islands was only operational for 5 out of 12 months covered by the report, but our positive impact is undeniable.
We now have 35 amazing volunteer bakers supporting 9 recipient organisations who received 65 boxes of home baking. And that’s just the beginning.

If you’re keen to join us, please sign up via the website or DM for more info.

What a year for Good Bi***es Baking.

In 2025–26, 3,575 volunteers donated 118,347 hours to bake and deliver 38,151 boxes of treats to 600 recipient organisations across Aotearoa. Those small acts of kindness touched an estimated 763,020 lives and created more than $3.6 million in social value (based on 2023 cost estimates).

Behind every box is a volunteer who chose to show up for their community, no questions asked.

Our Annual Report is a celebration of that kindness, and of the people, organisations, funders and supporters who make it possible.

We’re looking for more locals to join our team of bakers, drivers, and do-gooders — so if you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time! You don’t need to be a pro baker, just someone who loves to spread kindness. ❤️
