We were able to finish off this lovely stretch along the creek today . Thanks Sue for picking up a box of Bromeliads, left on a verge in town..they will be stunning here. Fab to walk around grabbing the beautiful mulch and placing it on the garden. ( and no, Janet isn’t fishing, lobbing buckets of water onto the new plants. Bless ).

Well it was hot , hot, did I say hot , down here today. Thanks to our awesome parks crew for coming down too. Got into practice in leaf clearing for autumn. Tidied up a few areas. Fabulous seeing the Kawerau Beach being used too. ❤️.

Beautiful day in Stoneham today. And the rain has been a godsend. Thankyou Ralph for your brilliant work of sweeping up all the leaves on the path and making lovely mulch for the gardens. Well done. Good practice for autumn. Yippee can’t wait. ( not ) Oh um if anyone sees a pronged weeder down here, can you let me know. Duh I’m in trouble. 😂🤷‍♀️

A new year , and another start in our happy place. This rain was a godsend down here, ( I know, not for the kids holidays 🤯 ) ok pic 3. This is quite sad for us. We are gifted, granted plants that we lovingly plant, then come back to find this. Holes only. Cmon , please please don’t steal them. They are for everyone to enjoy. Not just you. 😪. Well she was a hottun again. Started tidying up entrance at 5 rocks.
Then went down to check out our sandpit. Which, today was filled with a beautiful family, who I reckon have nailed the name. Kawerau Beach.
