🙏Huge thanks to everyone who came along to the Katikati mid-winter gymkhana today! 🐴 The rain held off for us, the riders and ponies were awesome, and the day was just pure fun from start to finish.

A massive shoutout to everyone who baked and ran the sausage sizzle — your goodies were delicious and much appreciated! Thanks also to our helpers, volunteers, and judges for making it all happen. See you at the next one! 💐

Come on down to the Katikati Domain this morning for a fun-filled gymkhana! Riders of all ages are competing, and there’s plenty to cheer for.

Hungry or want a sweet treat? We’ve got yummy home baking on offer from the Home 🏠 Industries volunteer team, plus the barbecue is fired up and serving sausages! 🌭

Bring the whanau, grab a snag, and enjoy a great morning of horse sport. See you there! 🏇

This Volunteer Week, we’d like to take a moment to recognise and thank the incredible volunteers who help make the Katikati A&P Show such a success each year.

From setting up and packing down, stewarding sections, helping exhibitors, working behind the scenes, and tackling countless jobs that often go unseen, our volunteers are the heart of the show. Their time, energy, knowledge, and dedication are what keep this long-standing Katikati tradition alive.

The Katikati A&P Show simply wouldn’t happen without the many people who generously give their time before, during, and after show day or fundraising throughout the year. Whether you’ve volunteered for decades or are just starting out, your contribution is valued and appreciated.

On behalf of the committee and the wider show community, thank you for everything you do. Your passion, community spirit, and willingness to lend a hand help create an event that brings people together and showcases the very best of rural traditions.

🚗🚕That’s a wrap for summer ☀️🚗🛍️

Today marked the last of our Katikati A&P Society Car Boot Sales for the summer season, and we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported them.

From our fantastic stallholders, to the locals and visitors who came along for a browse and a yarn, and our wonderful volunteers who made each event possible — you’ve all helped make the car boots a truly special part of our summer.

It’s been a wonderful way to connect with our community while raising vital funds for the annual A&P Show at our Showgrounds. We’re very grateful for the support and the great atmosphere at each event.

We’ll be back again on the first Saturday of the month from October through to April, kicking off on Saturday 3 October — so be sure to mark your calendars.

👉 Now’s the perfect time to start clearing out those sheds and garages and get ready for October 3rd!
