🌻 Daffodil Day Success! 🌻

A massive THANK YOU to all our incredible Lions Club of Katikati members, Waihi Golf Club, and local supporters who made our Daffodil Day fundraiser such a triumph! Whether you donated goods or money for our raffle, gave your time to sell tickets, or worked the grill cooking sausages—your efforts truly made the day.

While the closure of the Karangahake Gorge impacted player numbers, the weather certainly delivered a beautiful day for golf, and the community's generosity shone through!

On-the-day fundraising total: $1,201.65

⛳ Waihi Golf Club: $469.95

🎟️ Raffle: $406.20

🌭 Sausage Sizzle: $245.50

💛 Donations (Non-playing golfers): $80.00

To make an even bigger impact, our club voted to top up the grand total to $1,400.00, which has now been donated directly to the Cancer Society of New Zealand (Waikato Division).

Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, grabbed a sausage, or chipped in. We are so proud of what our community can accomplish together! 💛
