Located at 22 Church Road at the MenzShed (next to Northland Waste).

Kiwi Ingenuity at its best at the recent Kaitaia Repair Cafe on 30th August! Make do with what resources you have!

A sentimental lamp was brought in from a member of the public which needed some TLC. Pascal made a piece on the lathe and Chris found a power cord with plug attached to thread through the pole. It took a while but the lovely wahine was very happy with the result 🙂

We have two amazing volunteers that have joined our Repair Cafe team so make sure you head on down with your items that need repairing, save the environment and save your wallet!

Repair Cafe Kaitaia is on again this Saturday 26th July from 10.30am-12.30pm.

Our expert volunteers will be able to assist with the following repairs this month:

-Knife Sharpening (including mower blades)
-General Household items
-Small mechanical items
-Garden tools
-Bric a Brac

Koha appreciated and Timecredits accepted.

We're looking for a volunteer to help with aspects of coordinating/hosting our Kaitaia Repair Cafe. If anyone can help on a regular/occasional basis with any or all of the following: welcoming people/baking/photo taking/advertising, please let Caryl know asap on [email protected] or direct message us.

It's held every last Saturday of the month from 10.30-12.30pm at the Menz Shed, 22 Church Road next to Northland Waste.

Timebank members earn Timecredits and have the chance to contribute to an awesome community event. Take along some goods that need repairing at the same time!
