Kia ora Kaitaia businesses and whoever thinks this is a great idea👋🏽
We’re reaching out from He Ara Whānui, He Ara Tētēkura, working alongside rangatahi here in Te Hiku o te Ika who are looking to pathway into employment or back into school or onto further training 💪🏽

When it comes to mahi, we’re looking to connect with local businesses who are open to shaping real pathways for these rangatahi, tailored to them and your industry 🎯

Some of these keen as young people are ready for that next step. Others are still working on a bunch of stuff:
🕒 showing up on time
🗣️ holding a conversation
📵 staying off their phones
💯 building confidence and consistency

What we want to do is work with you to bridge some of those gaps 🤝

What that might look like:
🔧 identifying what skills your workplace needs
🧑🏽‍🏭 supporting rangatahi to get work-ready for your space
🥾 helping cover things like boots, basic tickets, or gear
📈 creating opportunities for exposure, experience, or employment

We’re not here to drop young people on you and walk away. We are really wanting to walk alongside them and alongside you all too🚶🏽‍♀️🚶🏽‍♂️

Kia ora whānau, we are recruiting for our next lot of rangatahi to tautoko with getting all those things in place that help with finding good mahi, or going back to kura/school or onto a course to get those qualifications. We've got dedicated and qualified kaimahi to help support our rangatahi, who are 300% behind getting the goals of our young people achieved!! 💪
