🔥 HE ARA WHĀNUI HE ARA TĒTĒKURA 🔥
We have a number of rangatahi enrolled on our pathways programme towards employment, back into education or onto further training 🙌

Featured in this Te Hiku Media story is one of those enrolled rangatahi, Dennis Nathan, who has gone into further training with NorthTec 🎓 with tautoko from He Ara Whānui, He Ara Tētēkura 💯

If you're wanting any information about what we can provide, then come in and see our kaimahi at 171 Commerce Street, or DM the page. Our approach is about walking alongside our rangatahi 🤝 to build solid foundations into:
✨ education
✨ training
✨ employment
✨ life skills

We engage our rangatahi where they’re at 🧭
We're youth-focused so believe they have their best interests at heart 📈
We're looking for those open doors that are right for them to walk through 🚪

Every outcome matters, every step counts 👣

Dennis, and all our rangatahi working on their pathways and outcomes 👊
We see you, and we're proud of all of you and where you’re heading x

Kia ora Kaitaia businesses and whoever thinks this is a great idea👋🏽
We’re reaching out from He Ara Whānui, He Ara Tētēkura, working alongside rangatahi here in Te Hiku o te Ika who are looking to pathway into employment or back into school or onto further training 💪🏽

When it comes to mahi, we’re looking to connect with local businesses who are open to shaping real pathways for these rangatahi, tailored to them and your industry 🎯

Some of these keen as young people are ready for that next step. Others are still working on a bunch of stuff:
🕒 showing up on time
🗣️ holding a conversation
📵 staying off their phones
💯 building confidence and consistency

What we want to do is work with you to bridge some of those gaps 🤝

What that might look like:
🔧 identifying what skills your workplace needs
🧑🏽‍🏭 supporting rangatahi to get work-ready for your space
🥾 helping cover things like boots, basic tickets, or gear
📈 creating opportunities for exposure, experience, or employment

We’re not here to drop young people on you and walk away. We are really wanting to walk alongside them and alongside you all too🚶🏽‍♀️🚶🏽‍♂️

If you’re keen to be part of growing our local workforce and backing our rangatahi, we’d love to kōrero 💬

Message us or reach out directly 📩
