Youth Enterprise collab with Ngā Hoe Horo rangatahi.
Day 1 = Growth Mindset vs. Fixed mindset

These rangatahi already have the mindset to become champions. This holidays we’re supporting them to see how they can transfer that growth mindset to other parts of their lives.

Taiohi Mauri are stoked to be hosting this amazing opportunity for Taiohi at our office in Kaitaia. If you have any natural born hustlers (aka entrepreneurs) aged 16-30 get them to sign up before Monday 22/7

The King’s Trust Enterprise Workshop is a free 2-Day workshop running from 9am-4pm both days for people 17-30 (we have however put the age down to 16 for this particular workshop) who either have a business idea/dream or an establish business and would like learn more skills to take their venture to the next level.

Over the two days, we explore what it means to be an entrepreneur in Aotearoa and share stories of looking at business through an indigenous POV. We dive into key steps of starting and growing business, looking at marketing, understanding your customer, pitching, sustainability, creating your 1 page business plan all woven in with lots of activities, shared learning off one another and examples from alumni of the trust and even guest speakers from the local community.

Once completed the workshop, participants become alumni of the Trust and will have access to our national and global networks. We offer ongoing online masterclasses and networking events, and anyone who has completed our workshop will be able to apply for He Kākano Seed Funding where they can pitch for up to 20k funding to start or grow their business.

"Hey rangatahi mā! 🌟
Speak Up and Be Heard! 🗣️
Your voice matters!

Youth24 wants to hear from YOU - yes, YOU!

If you're 12 to 24, living in Northland, or even if you've moved away for school or work, we want YOUR feedback. Government and Iwi leaders are listening and they need YOUR input to shape a Youth Strategy for Te Tai Tokerau. Your thoughts can help decide where resources and efforts should go.
Take 20 mins to fill out the Youth24 questionnaire at this link: https://upsidettt.co.nz/
It's totally anonymous, so speak your mind!

Parents and whānau, please back this cause and urge the young people in your circle to join in and complete the questionnaire.
Let's make our voices count! 🌈🌟"
