We’re opening abstract submissions for the National Pekapeka Hui 2026, and we’d love to hear what you’re working on.

If your mahi involves pekapeka, whether through research, iwi partnerships, community projects, applied management, or storytelling, this is a space to share, connect, and learn together.

We’re keen to showcase a wide range of perspectives, from on-the-ground practice and iwi-led initiatives to policy, education, and emerging research. Presentations, workshops, posters, and case studies are all welcome.

This hui is about people, partnerships, and place — and the collective effort behind bat conservation in Aotearoa.
