Spotted after finishing our regular fundraising BBQ today - Leann Cubitt (artist) taking advantage of the fine weather, painting a beautiful mural on the wall facing the Salvation Army premises on Johnsonville Road. This mural is one of several designed to brighten-up Johnsonville, organised by Johnsonville Lions, and generously funded by the Patrick Feeney Estate in his lasting memory.

On Sunday 16 November a team from Johnsonville Lions was entered in the Whitford Brown Special Olympics Team to raise money for a group of students to go to Christchurch in December. $4,400 was raised.

Out of 20 teams Johnsonville Lions came fifth, a great effort. Darren was our secret weapon with several inspiring and correct answers.
