😏 Consent is sexy. Full stop.
There’s nothing hotter than mutual respect, clear communication, and enthusiastic YES energy. 💬✨

Consent isn’t just about avoiding harm—it’s about creating connection, safety, trust, and pleasure.
It’s checking in. Listening. Respecting a “no” and celebrating a “yes.”

✅ It’s sexy.
✅ It’s necessary.
✅ It’s non-negotiable.

🙌 Massive thank you to / stopit.nz for continuing to empower Aotearoa with real, honest kōrero around consent, respect, and healthy relationships. 🧡 Your mahi is changing lives.

👉 Swipe to learn more about what consent really looks, sounds, and feels like—in real life.

🧡 “Someone I care about told me they’ve been sexually assaulted... What do I say? What do I do?”
It’s okay to feel unsure—what matters most is that you show up with compassion, belief, and no judgment.

💬 “I believe you.”
💬 “It’s not your fault.”
💬 “Thank you for trusting me.”
These words are powerful. Survivors don’t need you to have all the answers—they need to know they’re not alone.

✨ The way we respond can either support someone’s healing—or deepen their trauma. Let’s be people who help others feel safe, seen, and heard.

🙌 Huge thank you to / stopit.nz for sharing these vital tips and continuing to lead this mahi with care and strength. We’re proud to amplify it. 🧡

👉 Swipe to learn simple, meaningful ways to support someone who has experienced sexual harm.
Your response can make a difference.

📱 Let’s talk about nudes 💬
Sending or receiving nudes is a personal choice—but only when it’s consensual, safe, and respectful.

📸 Nudes are not the problem.
🚫 Non-consensual sharing, pressure, coercion, and screenshots without permission are.
This is where harm happens—and where we need to talk more openly.

Talking about nudes isn't about shame. It’s about boundaries, consent, and respecting people's choices and bodies—both online and offline. 🧡

🙌 Huge mihi to / stopit.nz for leading these important digital safety kōrero and creating awesome resources around this kaupapa.

👉 Swipe to learn more about sending, receiving, and navigating nudes safely—and what to do if something goes wrong.

🟣 Let’s talk about the spectrum of sexual violence 💬
Sexual violence isn’t just one thing—it exists on a spectrum, from harmful comments and unwanted touches, to coercion, assault, and r**e.

Sometimes it's loud. Sometimes it's subtle.
But every part of the spectrum matters, and all of it deserves to be taken seriously. 💔➡️💪

✨ Awareness is the first step to action—and change.
✨ Understanding the spectrum helps us recognise harm early, and respond with care, safety and support.

🙌 Huge thanks to / stopit.nz for the powerful work and info that’s helping to educate and empower communities across Aotearoa. We appreciate your mahi 🧡

👉 Swipe to learn more about the spectrum and how we can all play a role in creating a culture of respect and safety.

📣 April is Sexual Violence Awareness Month 🧡
This month, we’re creating space for kōrero, learning, healing, and action.

Sexual harm affects too many in our communities—but together, we can shift the culture. Every voice, every story, every safe conversation matters.

Throughout April, we’ll be sharing resources, tools, and ways we can all play a part in building a safer Aotearoa—where everyone feels respected, heard, and protected, Kindly gifted to us by AVIVIA & Stopit.nz

Let’s be the change—together. 🌿
