We are proud to introduce our first sponsored attendee at Reigning Downs Hauora Centre Talia Skilling!
This opportunity would have not been possible without an amazing panel of Rangatahi believing in our kaupapa wishing to fund it, thank you to One.nz Te Rourou’s wonderful funding opportunities for our community in association with ILT, Community Trust South and Clare.
Talia had limited sessions at Reigning Downs Hauora Centre and was benefiting immensely through her sessions, she was heartbroken when her sessions were coming to an end, thanks to this funding, she is able to continue!
She could not have been more grateful!
We look forward to being apart of her journey here in 2025!

Central Southland College have been the most supportive school in Southland of Reigning Downs Hauora Centre’s Kaupapa since it began in 2020 by sourcing funding for 6 groups!
What better way to show our appreciation other than for Tutuki to offer a day course for students of their choice and criteria.
Because many of their previous groups have been for male students, they invited a group of year 10/11 female students and what a great day we had!
Thank you so much Central Southland College for your support!

Showers and cold temperatures were not going to faze this amazing group of wahine toa! 💪
We were thrilled to have Aurora College’s Pasifika Group at Reigning Downs Hauora Centre today!
These amazing young ladies have the most amazing natures and we just loved having them at the Centre!
In the future, I would love to be able to offer education leading to career pathways in the Equine Industry, today’s outcome fuelling that drive to offer this within our community with 9 out of 9 students saying if on offer they would love to be apart of it, pretty special result! ⭐️
I really hope to be able to offer these young ladies more opportunities in the future! 💗
Again, thank you ILT and ICC for their support!

We were so lucky that the weather gods weren’t too tough on us today providing clear patches throughout to allow our senior group of students to give every element of their day course at Reigning Downs Hauora Centre their all today!
Another great group who were willing to brave the weather to gain new and exciting experiences!
It has been lovely to provide this weeks two days courses for the wonderful rangatahi to build confidence and reset before heading back to school next week! It has been a pleasure!

Today we were elated to invite a wonderful group of junior rangatahi to Reigning Downs Hauora Centre to participate in a day course building confidence and empowering our rangatahi prior to returning to school for term 2!
Unfortunately one of our invited whānau of three were unable to attend last minute however, our group of amazing young men were an absolute pleasure, all having some great reflection on the day to share as well as when asked “who feels like they have gained confidence today?” The entire group’s hands shot up which was awesome! The feedback from parents/caregivers has been outstanding!
I was able to capture some moments from the day, pm if you would like these shared!!
Watch this space for more cost free opportunities in the near future for local rangatahi to thrive!
