ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN !!!

Entries are now open for the 2027 Colgate Games, New Zealand’s biggest junior athletics event.

The Colgate Games are open to athletes aged 7–14 years who are members of an affiliated athletics club. Whether attending the North Island Games in Whangārei, the South Island Games in Invercargill, or both, the event provides young athletes with a great opportunity to compete, represent their club, and enjoy the experience of a major athletics event.

Proud to call this incredible facility the home of TET Athletics Taranaki ❤️ A special story of the vision and community spirit that created a place generations of athletes have been fortunate to call home.

Why is a facility like this in Inglewood? It’s a question we hear often!

As part of Taranaki Community Stadium Trust’s 40-year celebrations last year, we spoke with Wally Gillum about the vision, community effort and determination that brought this facility to life.

This is the story of why it is here - and why it continues to serve our community today.
