Please refer to the 2026 Timetable and Group Lists (which was emailed to all caregivers 31/01/2026) to see when your child/ren will be swimming, and which group/s they are in. This is a working document and as it is updated regularly, this will always be the most up-to-date version.
**Some adjustments will be made after the first week once coaches have assessed skill levels, so please check the timetable again before lessons begin in week two.**
You might notice the timetable and group structure look a bit different from previous years. A number of factors, including high enrolments and safety considerations, mean the Preschooler, Beginner, and Emergent levels have been divided into three groups each, with each group attending two lessons per week. A great deal of care has gone into scheduling siblings in different levels on the same two days where possible, while also working around each childโs availability. Itโs been a complex process and has taken considerable time, so we appreciate your understanding.
Because numbers in the Intermediate and Advanced levels are lower, there is just one group for each. These groups run on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and youโre welcome to attend on the days that suit your availability.

Kelly would like to advise that, due to difficulties securing enough coaches this season, parents may occasionally need to help out. This wouldnโt necessarily be in the water, but assisting from the poolside.

As per the Hunterville Community Swimming Pool policy for child supervision:
- Children aged 7 years and under must be actively supervised by a caregiver who is 16 years of age or older. Actively supervised means watching their child at all times and be able to provide immediate assistance if necessary.
- Any under 5 years of age must be supervised by a caregiver 16 years of age or older. The caregiver must be within arm's reach at all times.
- Any child aged 3 years and under must be supervised by a caregiver 16 years of age or older. The caregiver must be in the water and within arm's reach at all times. This means that parents of Preschoolers aged 3 years and under will have to be in the water with their child.
- The maximum supervision ratio for children under 5 is 1:2 (one adult to two children). As a result, parents of 4-year-olds in the Preschooler level may need to be in the water with their child.
