✨ What a night at the Hokitika Christmas Parade! 🎄🦁

The Lions Club of Hokitika had an absolute blast joining in the festive fun last our crew brought plenty of Christmas cheer to the streets of Hoki.

Our float rolled proudly through town flags flying, bells jingling, and smiles all around. A huge thank you to everyone who gave us a wave, a cheer, or a friendly hello along the way. Community spirit like this is what makes Hokitika so special. 💛

A big shoutout to our Lions who were out on Saturday morning scrubbing, and tidying up around town — rain, mud, and all! 🌧️✨

Hudson and Price memorial all tidy and read for a freah coat of paint when the weather improves ☀️

It’s amazing what a bit of teamwork (and elbow grease!) can do to keep Hokitika looking great. 💛💙

🌼 Daffodil Day – Friday 29 August 🌼
Join us in supporting the Hokitika/South Westland Cancer Support Group as we raise funds for the Cancer Society on Daffodil Day!

✨ What’s happening:
🟡 Raffle (5 prizes!) and fresh daffodils at Hokitika New World from 8.30am Friday 29 August
🎟️ Raffle drawn Saturday 30 August
🍰 Cake Stall at Heartlands from 9am Friday 29th – baking donations welcome on Thursday 28th
🌼 Street and outskirts daffodil sales from 10am Friday
